Sumsub sells the check. Solidus issues a credential the user keeps and re-presents — so the second relying party never re-runs it. Different product category, different cost curve.
Solidus is a public testnet: no mainnet, no token, no external audit, and no paying customer. Every claim below is checkable; none of them are a substitute for the certifications an incumbent already holds.

- Certifications we do not hold: eIDAS QES, NIST iBeta, ISO 27001/27017/27018, SOC 2 Type II. For a regulated buyer these are procurement blockers, and Solidus fails them today — SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / eIDAS QTSP are a 2027 roadmap.
- A shipped, crypto-specific FATF Travel Rule product. Solidus has no equivalent productized offering.
- Roughly 3,000+ customers, a support organisation, and SLAs. Solidus has none of that — we are a testnet with no paying customer.
- The procurement default. Nobody gets fired for buying Sumsub.

- The user holds the credential. There is no vendor tenant to be locked into and no re-export project when you leave.
