Solidus Verify
Solidus Verify vs Persona
Persona wins on developer experience and no-code workflows. We are not competing there. We are competing on whether the verification you already paid for travels to the next relying party.
Solidus is a public testnet: no mainnet, no token, no external audit, and no paying customer. Every claim below is checkable; none of them are a substitute for the certifications an incumbent already holds.
What Persona does better
- Developer experience and the no-code Flows workflow builder — a compliance team can change verification logic without engineering. We have nothing comparable.
- Transparent self-serve pricing, a polished sandbox, and sign-up without a sales call.
- A real product with real customers. Solidus is a testnet with none.
Where Solidus is different
- Re-verification at $0.05 instead of ~$1.50 every time.
- W3C Verifiable Credentials and BBS+ selective disclosure. Persona has no eIDAS QTSP status, no DIF participation, and no BBS+ or SD-JWT VC on the public record.
- EU standards alignment: did:solidus is registered in the W3C DID Method Registry and Solidus is a DIF Associate Member.
