NIST iBeta (PAD Certification)
Ayrıca şöyle anılır iBeta PAD certification, ISO 30107-3 lab testing, NVLAP, iBeta Level 1/2
"NIST iBeta" is the shorthand the identity-verification industry uses for a specific certification pathway: independent lab testing of a biometric liveness / anti-spoofing system against the ISO/IEC 30107-3 presentation-attack-detection standard (see Presentation Attack for what that standard actually measures), performed by a lab accredited under a US federal program. Getting the two halves of the name right matters, because they're different kinds of authority doing different jobs.
NIST, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, part of the US Department of Commerce, does not itself test or certify a company's anti-spoofing model. What NIST runs is the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), which accredits independent commercial labs as competent to perform specific standardized tests. iBeta Quality Assurance is one such lab: a privately-run testing company, NVLAP-accredited specifically to perform ISO/IEC 30107-3 testing, and by far the most commonly cited name in the industry when a vendor says its liveness system is "certified." When a company advertises "iBeta Level 1" or "iBeta Level 2 PAD certified," it means iBeta ran the standardized attack battery, printed photos and screen replays for Level 1; more sophisticated artifacts like masks for Level 2, against the vendor's system and the vendor passed, with a public result a buyer can check rather than take on faith.
Who actually built this
NIST's NVLAP program is a US federal accreditation scheme. iBeta Quality Assurance is an independent commercial lab, not a government agency, that holds NVLAP accreditation and performs the actual testing under the ISO/IEC 30107-3 standard maintained by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 37. Three separate organizations, three separate roles, none of them Solidus.
Solidus today
No Solidus product has been submitted for iBeta testing or any other NVLAP-accredited lab's PAD evaluation. As the Presentation Attack entry already states, Solidus's own PAD model hasn't even cleared its internal adversarial security review yet, external independent certification is a later step that hasn't started. No "iBeta certified" or "NIST certified" claim applies to any Solidus product today.

Presentation Attack is the phenomenon this testing exists to catch, and covers the ISO/IEC 30107 standard family in full. Liveness Detection is the broader capability PAD testing is one part of evaluating.
Nereden geliyor
Bunu başkası belirtti. Solidus bir araya getiriyor.
Two separate things sit under this one commonly-used shorthand, and the accuracy of the term depends on keeping them apart. NIST (the US National Institute of Standards and Technology, a federal agency) runs the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), which accredits independent test labs to perform standardized testing, NIST itself does not directly grade a biometric system's presentation-attack defenses. iBeta Quality Assurance is a privately-run, commercial testing lab, not a government body: that holds NVLAP accreditation and is the most widely cited independent lab performing ISO/IEC 30107-3 conformance testing (see Presentation Attack) in the US market. "iBeta certified" is industry shorthand for having passed that lab's Level 1 or Level 2 PAD testing. Solidus built none of this, not the standard, not the accreditation program, not the lab.

iBeta publishes a public list of vendors and products it has certified. Search it: Solidus will not appear, because no submission has been made.
